FOUNTAIN NEW ARTISTIC.

Inaugurated in Piazza SantoStefano, in the historic center of Varapodio (Reggio Calabria-Italy),the new artistic fountain stone hand-carved decorations and friezes.

Artwork and sculptures made of solid stone (Lazzaro-ReggioCalabria) to fine workmanship (following the same decorative elementsof the existing fountain in cast iron), with four fountains workedartistically and surface Martellina hand (base, column, capital andpeak) .

Fontana created and built on the project, local stone called "Lazarus or reggina" with materials and decorative friezes custom.

The sculptural work is defined by its special artistic originality in due form and in their distinctive classicism.

Nella presente relazione sono indicate le finalita'  del progetto, i suoi fondamenti architettonici ed il suo inserimento ottimale nel contesto ambientale e urbano della citta' di Varapodio.

Motivazioni e finalita' del progetto.

L'opera di progetto si propone di recuperare e riqualificare gli spazi, da anni totalmente mancanti, da adibire ad area attrezzata peril verde e parco, interni alle ville di proprieta'  privata, oltre alle funzioni di viabilita' e accesso alle aree di parcheggio. L'area sottoposta al recupero si estende internamente nel territorio comunale di Varapodio, in posizione periferica del centro cittadino, fronteggiante le vie Comunali, con annessa villa residenziale. Lo studio e la scelta dell'arredo urbano nello specifico ambito progettuale e di ricerca prevede per l'area delle ville, ad attrezzare gli spazi a verde con manufatti fissi o mobili funzionali, e nel migliorare l'aspetto architettonico e l'immagine coordinata della villa. L'arredo urbano e' stato materia di studio delle fattibilita' architettoniche, occupandosi prevalentemente delle problematiche e del disegno degli spazi a verde attrezzato, della segnaletica e dei dissuasori, dell'illuminotecnica, ed in genere di qualsivoglia manufatto a destinazione specifica che trova collocazione nelle ville a complemento del disegno urbanistico ed architettonico.
